The Sickness Unto Death & The Honest Truth - Typhoon

I probably will write countless times about this artist, but it is well deserved. Typhoon, a band composed of 12 members brings a unique approach to the way music is produced. With two drummers and the combination of lifting strings and piercing brass their songs are filled with deep meaning and an overall charging anthems. Enjoy

This video is actually two songs they merge together occasionally, so it is quite long but truly worth your 9 minutes of time.

Typhoon will be in Tucson in November, so go and support this Northeastern band!

Whale - Yellow Ostrich

A new friend showed me this today....and if this friendship is as promising as this song is for my iTunes library, the future looks quite good.

Welcome

Welcome! Thank you for visiting my newest installment in my blog series...this being with a more personal touch. Rather than documenting my travels or experience as a student, I have had this urge to spill out my thoughts on humanity and life. And what better way to do so than with music. I plan on posting on average around once a day with songs for your day and if you like, for your soundtrack to life. Please support all of the bands and artists you hear here and actually buy their music, merch, or come and attend a show with me. If you're looking for a theme for this music, I really cannot tell you anything specific...just plug in those earbuds and enjoy.

And to start it off, welcome Hey Rosetta! to the stage. As much as I want to focus on one song here by this unbelievably talented band, I have to showcase these following two simply because of their compatibility and breadth of interconnecting lyricism.  Enjoy!

Yer Spring - Hey Rosetta!

Yer Fall: Hey Rosetta!
